She also survived by six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. On November 1, 2009, MRS. TALLEY. Daughter of Spirit of Chesapeake Temple 761 P.G.D.R. She volunteered for over 35 years to the citizens of Baltimore. She leaves nine daughters, Debra, Wandak, Lenette, Phyllis, Natalie, Teresa, JoAnn, Janice and Mimie; one son, Glen; 30 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; seven sisters and one brother. Visitation at 2140 N. Fulton Avenue, on Wednesday, 2 to 8 P.M. The family will receive friends in the chapel at 10 A.M. Funeral at 10:30 A.M.

Artists and craftspeople from around the country will gather at the Baltimore Convention Center this weekend for the 14th annual Black Heritage Art Show, which celebrates African-American culture in a wide range of expressions. Since it began in the Fellowship Hall of Baltimore's New Psalmist Baptist Church in 1995, when six artists attracted several hundred patrons, the event has grown into a three-day event that draws thousands of visitors and showcases more than 100 visual, literary and performing artists, including musicians, poets, dancers and fashion designers.

Evans; beloved grandmother of six; dear sister of Judy Peterson, Lois Makarovich, Curtis Conway, Carolyn Mackenzie and Butch Conway. Also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law Gary and Shelby Lewis of North Carolina and Randy and Patricia Lewis of Conowingo, MD. The family will receive visitors at the Singleton Funeral Home P.A., 1 Second Ave, S.W. (at Crain Hgwy) Glen Burnie, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M., on Wednesday. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the St. Philip Neri Catholic Church on Thursday at 9 A.M. Interment in Meadowridge Memorial Gardens.

Glenda V. Walker, a retired factory worker, died of kidney failure Friday at St. Joseph Medical Center. She was 67. Born and raised Glenda Reid in Baltimore, she was a Douglass High School graduate. Mrs. Walker, who lived on Allendale Road in West Baltimore, worked for 22 years as a packer at the Sweetheart Cup Co. in Owings Mills. She retired in 1998. Mrs. Walker enjoyed cooking and entertaining family and friends. She also was an avid collector of postcards. She was a member and usher at New Antioch Baptist Church in Randallstown, where funeral services were held Wednesday.
