Civic group empties its cupboard at lastThe cupboards are bare. Finally.The Glen Burnie Improvement Association, which had been looking to give away hundreds of dishes it no longer used, has donated service for more than 400 to several organizations.Sarah's House, Granite Baptist Church and St. Paul's Lutheran Church have taken the dishes.The civic group bought the dishes many years ago, at a time when it was holding large dinners. But it no longer holds such dinners and uses disposable plates and cups for refreshments after meetings.
