Matchup -- Blast (15-9)@California Cougars (7-18) Time -- 10:35 Radio -- 680 AM Outlook -- The Blast clinched a spot in the Major Indoor Soccer League's playoffs last weekend with Philadelphia's loss and hopes to end a two-game losing streak tonight. The Blast has won all four meetings with California this season and needs to keep up with Milwaukee (15-8), which is one-half game ahead in the battle for second place. Giuliano Celenza should return tonight after missing last Sunday's loss in Milwaukee with the flu. Robbie Aristodemo and Machel Millwood both scored two goals in the defeat.

Matchup -- Blast (4-2) at California (2-6) Site -- Stockton (Calif.) Arena Time -- 10 p.m. Radio -- WCBM (680 AM) Outlook -- The rematch from Saturday's game in Baltimore brings a new challenge for the Blast: the road. The team is 0-2 away from 1st Mariner Arena, but handled California with ease in the first meeting, 22-6. Five injured players, Adauto Neto, David Bascome, P.J. Wakefield, Giuliano Celenza and Cristian Neagu, will not make a trip that continues Saturday in Detroit. Coach Danny Kelly hopes to have them all back except Bascome for the next home game Jan. 6. The Blast has re-signed veteran Tarik Walker to a second five-game contract.

Radio: 680 AM Outlook: The Blast takes its National Indoor Soccer League-leading record and defense to Rockford for the second time in search of a third victory over the first-year entry. The Blast has 14-4 and 11-2 wins in the series and would top last season's 5-0 start with a victory. Machel Millwood leads the Blast with 18 points, followed by three others, Carlos Garcia, Giuliano Celenza and Robbie Aristodemo, with 13. G Sagu has allowed a meager 5.44 points a game.

Blast forwards Giuliano Celenza and Adauto Neto and defenders Danny Kelly and P.J. Wakefield were selected to represent Baltimore in this year's All-Star Game. The MISL All-Star Game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 11 at Milwaukee's U.S. Cellular Arena. Neto joined the Blast this season after the MISL Dispersal Draft and leads the team with 23 points. Baltimore products Celenza and Wakefield will be making their second All-Star appearance. Kelly, a 14-year veteran will be playing in his fifth All-Star Game.
