Next year's concert announcements are already starting to roll out. The German industrial metal band Rammstein will perform at 1st Mariner Arena, of all places, on April 25. Expect lots of pyrotechnics. The band is promoting a greatest hits package, "Made in Germany 1995 - 2011. " The band's "Sehnsucht" album, from 1997, is still the highest-selling non-English rock album, according to the RIAA . Tickets, starting at $58.80, go on sale Thursday. PS! and by the way, a bunch of Penn State academics are looking for contributions to their upcoming scholarly volume on Rammstein, whose "oeuvre has escaped the full-scale, in-depth treatment that it undoubtedly deserves.

Dave Matthews Band will perform at Jiffy Lube Live this summer, it was announced Wednesday morning. It's the first summer tour for Matthews since 2010. He's set to perform in Bristow June 16. He'll be promoting a new album that'll be released sometime this year, a follow-up to 2009's "Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King. " Tickets go on sale March 9; price is not yet available. Gary Clark Jr., who performed in Baltimore in December, is opening.

All American Video Productions has been contracted to produce a video for the Ken Beatrice Celebrity Golf Tournament and just completed production for the fifth annual Camerican Cafe Columbia Classic Grand Prix Video.The golf tournament, held on Oct. 6 at Chantilly National CountrClub, featured 20 past and present members of the Washington Redskins, including Mark Mosley, Darrell Green, Gary Clark and Wilber Marshall.The event benefited the Fairfax County General Hospital. Ken Beatrice, a sportscaster with WMAL in Washington, began this tournament three years ago.The equestrian tournament was held at Howard Community College on Sept.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Arizona Cardinals coach Buddy Ryan, intent on restructuring his team's offense before next season, plans to make three prominent veterans available to the Carolina Panthers and Jacksonville Jaguars in the NFL expansion draft in February.Two days after the Cardinals ended their season with a 10-6 loss to the Atlanta Falcons, Ryan informed quarterback Steve Beuerlein and wide receivers Gary Clark and Ricky Proehl in private meetings yesterday that he plans to include them among the six players the team exposes in the veteran allocation draft.

An artistic vision as translated by computers is featured at the Finer Side Galleries' first exhibit of the season in Salisbury.Bloomsburg University professor Gary Clark, whose work has been widely exhibited, creates landscapes derived from fractal geometry, digital photography, drawing and computer tinkering in "Analog Memories, Digital Visions." She is also survived by many other relatives. There will be a Funeral Service 1 P.M. Thursday at the Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Middle River. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery. Aloma's Ruler, who held the mantle of oldest living Preakness winner for 12 days, died June 21 at a farm in Illinois. He was 24. When Spectacular Bid, winner of the 1979 Preakness, died June 9 in New York, Aloma's Ruler became the oldest living winner of the second jewel of racing's Triple Crown. Aloma's Ruler captured the Preakness in 1982, defeating the heavy favorite, Linkage, by a half length. Aloma's Ruler and Linkage were stabled in Maryland. John J. "Butch" Lenzini Jr. trained Aloma's Ruler, and Maryland builder Nathan "Red" Scherr owned him. A 16-year-old jockey, "Cowboy Jack" Kaenel, rode the colt to victory in the Preakness.
