North Ave. Thursday.ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 6100 block of Marlora Road was in the 2300 block of Gwynns Falls Parkway Wednesday night when a gunman robbed him of $315.

Call it a bad sequel -- The Burglar Alarm From Hell Part II.That's what some Timber Grove residents thought when a vacationing neighbor's burglar alarm went off three days ago and kept going.Luckily for them, Garrison District police officers and a Baltimore Gas and Electric Co. electronic technician took care of the problem yesterday afternoon before things got nasty -- unlike a similar Randallstown incident in May when neighbors suffered through six days of almost nonstop whoop-whoop-whooping and continuing media coverage.

A Pikesville resident was abducted from his home last night by a man who forced him to withdraw money from a 24-hour teller machine in the city, Baltimore County police said.Lt. Rick Landsman of the Garrison District said the victim, Stanley N. Block, 47, of the 2700 block of Willow Glen Drive, was not injured.Mr. Block told police he was confronted about 8:30 p.m. in a first-floor hallway by a man who implied he was armed.Police said Mr. Block was forced to drive to Mondawmin Mall in Northwest Baltimore and ordered to stop at an automated teller machine.

Baltimore CityCARJACKING: Northwestern District A 42-year-old resident of the 6100 block of Green Meadow Parkway was abducted Thursday night by a gunman who forced her to drive to a 24-hour teller machine, where she withdrew an undisclosed sum. The woman was leaving her home and walking to her car at 9:30 p.m. when a man forced her to drive to the Maryland National Bank in the 6700 block of Reisterstown Road. After removing money from an ATM and giving it to the man, the woman cried out when a man left a nearby building.

He was 71.Services will held be at 1:30 p.m. today at the Loring Byers Funeral Home, with internment at the Druid Ridge Cemetery.A Baltimore County policeman for 22 years, Mr. Hesson retired as a sergeant from the Garrison district in 1969 after serving at Woodlawn and Pikesville. During World War II, he served in the Sparrows Point Police Department.
