Also survived by other loving relatives and friends. A Christian Wake Service will be held at the family-owned Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk, Inc., 7922 Wise Avenue, on Wednesday at 3:30 PM. Friends may call on Wednesday at 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church on Thursday at `10 AM. Interment Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery.

An Anne Arundel judge has turned down a Howard County company's initial attempt to block an agreement that shut it out of a lucrative trash-hauling contract with Anne Arundel and Howard counties.Judge Clayton Greene ruled Thursday that Anne Arundel and a state agency that oversees waste management were not unduly biased in selecting the builder of a Jessup transfer station to take municipal waste from the counties to landfills elsewhere. His decision rejected a request by Waste Management of Maryland Inc. for a temporary injunction to stop the awarding of the contract.

The Blue Jays rolled up 294 yards rushing last week on the way to a come-from-behind 34-28 victory over Washington & Lee. Senior tailback Don Zajick and sophomore tailback Adam Gentile each rushed for 144 yards and one touchdown. Gentile also caught three passes for 29 yards. Sophomore quarterback Wayne Roccia completed 12 of 20 passes for 157 yards and one !
