Family will receive friends on Thursday, December 28th from 7-9 p.m. and Friday, December 29th from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. at Sterling Ashton Schwab Witzke Funeral Home of Catonsville, Inc., 1630 Edmondson Avenue with a Vigil beginning at 7:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the St. Agnes Church, 5422 Old Fredrick Road, Catonsville, on Saturday, December 30th at 10 a.m. Interment private.

No one would blame you if you couldn't see the overarching theme that binds the pieces of the Collective dance company's annual concert together. The Baltimore-based troupe explores the topic of transitions from wildly varying angles, including traffic and terminal illness. "I think that it's really a journey of a show," said director/choreographer Jessica Fultz. "Every piece is so different from the one before or after." The Collective: Moving Through Transitions, which takes place Saturday at the Baltimore Museum of Art, features eight pieces, including five world premieres.

Fultz.Fultz is packing up his expertise in dairy farming and taking it west to work as an agent for the Oregon State University Cooperative Extension Service.Today is his last day as a Carroll County agent.Fultz, 31, will work with dairy farmers in four northwestern Oregon counties. He and his wife, Debbie, and daughter, Emily, 3, will live in Tillamook, a town of 4,000 people 7 miles from the Pacific Ocean and 75 miles west of Portland.
