A young Severn woman who was found stabbed in the back Sunday in an elementary school parking lot was released yesterday after treatment at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, police reported.Angela Creek, 18, of the 8100 block of Meade Village Road was found bleeding heavily in her car outside Van Bokkelen Elementary School shortly before 5 p.m. after police received an anonymous call reporting a stabbing in progress, authorities said.Based on information from witnesses, police arrested Shameka Denise Molock, 16, of the 8200 block of Clearwater Court in Severn, who was charged as an adult with assault and reckless endangerment, police said.

A man awaiting trial for murder was found stabbed to death yesterday morning in his cell at Baltimore City Detention Center, said a spokesman for the state police, the agency heading the investigation.Pete Peringer, the spokesman, said the state-run center in the 400 block of E. Eager St. will remain in a lockdown while authorities seek a suspect and weapon.During a lockdown, inmates are confined to their cells, he said.Peringer said correctional officers found Scott P. Montague, 20, in his cell about 10: 20 a.m., bleeding from multiple stab wounds.

A 75-year-old woman was found stabbed to death yesterday, allegedly by a former employee who broke into her Northwest Baltimore apartment Saturday afternoon to steal her purse, city police said.The body of Jeanette Friedman was found by her son in the kitchen of her third-floor apartment in the 3500 block of Clarks Lane, in a complex inhabited mostly by elderly residents. Police said she had been stabbed several times.Sgt. Steven A. Lehmann of the homicide unit said police had a 32-year-old Baltimore man in custody early today and were preparing to charge him with armed robbery and first-degree murder this morning.

An Essex woman was found stabbed to death after a 911 call early yesterday by her 8-year-old daughter, Baltimore County police reported.The body of Brenda Carroll, 30, was found in an upstairs bedroom of her rented rowhouse in the 9700 block of Matzon Road around 5 a.m., said police spokesman Bill Toohey.The father of one of her two children was questioned by detectives after arriving voluntarily at the Essex Police Precinct station four hours later. The man -- who was not identified -- was being held last night on a warrant in an unrelated matter, but had not been charged in the stabbing, police said.

A 70-year-old Southwest Baltimore woman was found stabbed to death in her home early today, the only fatality in a night of city violence that saw six people wounded by gunfire.One of those shot was a man being arrested by a police officer who broke up a street robbery. But other shooting victims included a man walking down a street, a man sitting on his steps, and a woman driving.The stabbing victim was identified by police as Lillian Dupont, of the 1800 block of W. A 75-year-old mother and her 39-year-old daughter were found stabbed to death in their Carney home last night, Baltimore County police report.After notifying relatives, police identified the victims as Gertrude Poffel, 75, and her daughter, Pamela, 39, both of 2816 Fifth Ave.The bodies remained inside the house overnight while homicide detectives examined the crime scene. The state medical examiner's office in Baltimore was to perform autopsies on the two women today.The women were found stabbed to death shortly before 8 p.m. last night by a friend of the daughter who spoke on the telephone to one of the women earlier in the day, police said.
