Two 18-year-old men have been arrested in the fatal shooting of another man in Pasadena early Saturday morning, Anne Arundel County police said Sunday. Ronald Lee McLeod, of Columbia, and Daniel Alex Savage, of Glen Burnie, have been charged with first-degree murder in the shooting of Matthew Morrow, 21, who died at an area hospital after being found with gunshot wounds in the 7000 block of Outing Avenue about 1:30 a.m. Another man — whom The Sun confirmed to be mixed martial arts fighter Darren Costa, 20 — was also found shot and was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

A 17-year-old Baltimore boy has been charged as an adult with attempted first-degree murder, among other charges, in the stabbing of a fellow student at Heritage High School on Monday, according to police. Darrell Johns, of the first block of North Potomac Street in the Patterson Park neighborhood, is being held without bond. A preliminary hearing in the case has been scheduled for Oct. 30. The student he allegedly stabbed, who has not been identified, was treated by a school nurse and taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital after the incident about 10:45 a.m. Monday, city school officials said in a statement released five hours after the stabbing.

Baltimore Police have charged an 18-year-old Abingdon man with fatally shooting a woman in Cherry Hill last week, according to court records. The records show that Queren L. Thomas, a 36-year-old whose last known address was in South Laurel, was found shot in the 200 block of Reedbird Ave. at about 7 p.m. on Sept. 27. Thomas had called 911 prior to her death and told police "that the person who was responsible for shooting her was a person that she picked up at 908 Coppin Court.

A 28-year-old Columbia man sentenced to spend the rest of his life in prison for murdering two people in Howard County in 2007 was found dead and bloodied in his Allegany County prison cell early Thursday morning, according to Maryland State Police. Charles David Richardson IV, who was known as "Face" when he was arrested in May 2007 in the murders of an acquaintance and a 7-Eleven clerk, was found about 5 a.m. under a blanket in his cell bed with trauma to his head, police said. Guards at the North Branch Correctional Institution in Cresaptown rushed into his cell after observing his cellmate "in possession of clothing that appeared to be bloodstained" outside the cell on an upper-level tier, police said.

Baltimore police have arrested and charged a 20-year-old man in a shooting they say resulted from a dispute over drugs that left a teen critically wounded on the campus of Morgan State University last week. Kelly Lamont Ellerbee of the 6000 block of Chinquapin Parkway faces attempted first-degree murder and related charges in the shooting of 19-year-old Michael Antonio Campbell at the student center. Police said Ellerbee and Campbell knew each other but would not say whether they believe Ellerbee went to the campus for the purpose of shooting Campbell or whether the two men went with each other.

A Pasadena man accused of killing his wife with nine stab wounds and 92 knife slashes admitted Tuesday morning that prosecutors had enough evidence to convict him of first-degree murder. Stephen Richard Salb, 57, entered an Alford plea in the July 2011 slaying of his wife, Jill Teets Salb, 38, in Anne Arundel County Circuit Court. The plea means Salb maintains his innocence while acknowledging he could be convicted. Salb faces life in prison, a sentence prosecutor Anne Leitess said the state will recommend at his November sentencing hearing.

A 26-year-old Baltimore man was convicted of first-degree murder by a jury Tuesday in the fatal drive-by shooting of another man in the city's Dolfield neighborhood last year, according to prosecutors. Timothy L. Kittrell, who is listed as living in the 2100 block of Walbrook Avenue and as having multiple aliases in court records, was also found guilty of attempted first-degree murder and five handgun counts in the incident, in which he pulled up to another vehicle and opened fire, prosecutors said.

A 19-year-old man was arrested in the fatal shooting of another teen last month during a large party at a Catonsville Ramada Inn, Baltimore County police said. Savion Devante Moore, 19, of no fixed address, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Kelvin Glasgow on Aug. 19, when police were called to 6422 Baltimore National Pike for a fight. Officers found Glasgow suffering from a gunshot wound in the rear parking lot, and he was pronounced dead on scene. Police said the party got out of hand, the hostess asked people to leave and several fights broke out in the parking lot. Police reviewed footage from hotel surveillance cameras that they said shows Moore firing the weapon.

Baltimore County police charged a 20-year-old Dundalk man Tuesday with first-degree murder in his roommate's death. Edwin Alexander Iglesias-Reyes is accused of stabbing Victor DeJesus Portillo-Portillo, 26, of the 400 block of Scarsdale Road multiple times on Monday. Police said he then fled the home, leaving a trail of blood from the basement into a rear alley where a knife was found. Officers found blood around the surrounding neighborhood. The roommates had gotten into an fight but police said it's unclear what the argument was about.

A Baltimore County man was found guilty on Tuesday of murdering his girlfriend's boss in 2008, according to a statement from the state's attorney's office. A jury convicted Antoine M. Reed Jr., 33, in the death of Milton Barnes, who was shot in the head at an apartment management office at 6307 Monika Place in Woodlawn on June 24, 2008. Barnes, 36, was the manager of the Hunter's Crossing Apartments and had been having difficulties with an employee, who had been dating Reed, the statement said.
