State forestry investigators are looking into nearly a dozen field and woods fires that have occurred near the Carroll-Baltimore county line since Saturday.Volunteers from Lineboro, Hampstead, Manchester and Gamber -- as well as Baltimore County units -- have responded at all hours to 10 woods, field or hay fires that might have been intentionally set, authorities say.John Surrick, a spokesman for the Forestry Division of the state Department of Natural Resources, said yesterday that all of the fires are being investigated.
