In two days, the most high-profile recruitment in Maryland basketball history will be over. The Harrison twins will announce their college choice Thursday during a ceremony at their Travis (Texas) High School gym . The announcement will be televised on ESPNU, airing at 5 p.m. ET. Andrew, the top-ranked point guard in the 2013 class, and Aaron, the top-ranked shooting guard, will choose between Kentucky, Maryland and SMU, with the Wildcats and Terps considered the frontrunners.

Gilman's season-opening football game against Archbishop Moeller (Cincinnati, Ohio) on Sunday, August 26, will be televised live on ESPNU and streamed live on ESPN3 as part of the third annual ESPN High School Football Kickoff. Game time is 7 p.m. The game will be played at Kings High School outside Cincinnati. The game will be the last of 13 ESPN network games played over three days featuring 12 defending state champions. The Greyhounds, who will be appearing on an ESPN network for the first time, are the defending Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference champions.

The Loyola men's lacrosse team will face the U.S. national team in the exhibition Champion Challenge, a US Lacrosse event, on Sunday, Jan. 27 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. The game will pit the defending NCAA and Federation of International Lacrosse champions in a game that will be broadcast on ESPNU and ESPN3.com. Further details about the event, including a game time, will be released at a later date. "We are very excited about the opportunity to go down to Florida to play against the best of what the United States has to offer," Loyola ooach Charley Toomey said.

Maui Invitational Various times [ESPN2, ESPNU] Three games from the college basketball tournament are on ESPN2 (a doubleheader starting at 3 p.m., another at midnight) and one on the largely unwatchable ESPNU (9:30 p.m.). What to watch for: any coach donning the traditional colorful island shirt wear. That's a coach to root for.

College basketball Maryland @Boston College 7 p.m. [ESPNU] Duke @North Carolina 9 p.m. [chs. 54, 20] If you get ESPNU, you can catch the Terps trying to stay on a little roll they have going (four wins in five games) against Boston College. But the big game follows on channels 54 and 20, with No. 2 Duke at No. 3 North Carolina. The Blue Devils (19-1, 7-0 Atlantic Coast Conference) rallied to beat the Terps on Jan. 27, and the Tar Heels (21-1, 6-1) suffered their only loss so far at home against Maryland.
