Sunday was a wonderful day for a walk in the country. The pleasant temperatures and the gorgeous fall foliage made the day picture perfect. A great day for a 10-kilometer stroll. While nature provided the setting, some 140 walkers provided the energy for E.S.C.A.P.E. Ministries Inc.'s fifth annual River Road CROP Walk.Walkers of all ages strolled, jogged and puffed as they made their way over the hilly terrain of River Road, which meanders along the Patapsco River and into Howard County. The 6.2-mile trek seemed more than some had bargained for, but all walkers finished the course.
