A 40-year-old Baltimore man who crashed his Acura into an elderly driver's car while fleeing police last year was sentenced Thursday to 15 years in federal prison for dealing heroin after drugs were discovered in his abandoned car. Umar Burley also pleaded guilty in Baltimore Circuit Court this month to vehicular manslaughter in connection with the Northwest Baltimore crash, which killed 86-year-old Elbert Davis, the father of a police officer....

ELBERT FLOYD WILLIAMS, JR. age 69, of Max Meadows, VA died Friday, June 11, 2004. He was the son of the late Elbert Floyd, Sr. and Mamie Mc Millian Williams. He was a retired Police officer and was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Wilderness Road Pentecostal Holiness Church. He is survived by his wife Sheridan L. Williams of Max Meadows; sisters and brother-in-law Mary Katherine and Charley Harwell of Wytheville and Betty Jo Ekstrom of Greenwood, DE. Several nieces and nephews and cousins also survive.
