Yesterday Triple-A International League Syracuse 4, Ottawa 1: Tony Zuniga homered to help the SkyChiefs beat the host Lynx. Zuniga, who also doubled, broke a scoreless tie with his homer in the fourth inning. Glen Williams had two hits and an RBIs, and Rob Ryan had an RBI single in the eighth inning for Syracuse, which ended a three-game losing streak. Scott Cassidy (1-1) pitched two scoreless innings of relief, allowing one hit, to get the win. Fletcher Bates hit a pinch-hit RBI single in the eighth and Jose Leon two doubles for Ottawa, which had won its previous four meetings with the SkyChiefs.
