It's been 10 years since the coffee bar Coffee Coffee opened in the Festival at Bel Air, at 5 Bel Air South Parkway. So what is owner Mary Romeo doing to celebrate? She's opening another this weekend -- this time in downtown Baltimore, inside the Munsey Building. Because it's the interior of the old Equitable Bank, the new place comes with marble floors, walls and columns and huge windows, Romeo says. "Lots of open spaces," she notes, "perfect for sitting and having coffee or eating lunch."

Short reviews of recent reviews in the LIVE! section. Ryleigh's 32-36 E. Cross St., 410-539-2093 Lunch and dinner daily, brunch on Sunday Appetizers $3-$9; entrees $6 to $24 (AE, MC, V) Ryleigh's has a loud bar area and a fun atmosphere. It's a fine place to eat a burger or a brownie sundae and catch a game on TV, but don't necessarily hit this Federal Hill eatery for fine dining. Some dishes, like the pecan-crusted catfish, are quite good, while others, like the pork chops and steamed clams, can be overcooked and boring.

If you're a fan of the hit TV series "Downton Abbey," you may have thought about incorporating elements of the Crawley family's mansion into your own home. The setting is decidedly English country, and the house — in real life, a historic estate known as Highclere Castle — is filled with antique treasures, many of which will never be available for purchase. Still, experts say there has been an uptick in interest in antiques that coincides with the popularity of the series, now in its second season.

Who says you can't go home again? For lots of folks, Peerce's Plantation was like a second home - the place to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, bar mitzvahs, weddings. Or just to enjoy dinner out. When Peerce's closed 2 1/2 years ago, many mourned its passing. Guess what reopened this week? New owners Eric and Jackson Dott, with the help of general manager Peter Weston, have spent months renovating the old building to bring back the feeling of Peerce's glory days. Weston says they've entirely rebuilt and revamped the structure but kept the basic design the same.

You know how someone will talk about a great little restaurant they found in Europe? "... Maybe in Rome or Prague. The owner greets you personally, there are a couple of waiters. They cook things fresh for you, and you remember it and you tell your friends," elaborates chef Mark Schek. "Now, you don't have to buy a plane ticket," he announces. Schek is hoping you will now have that experience at The Rooster Cafe - the new restaurant he and partner Ali Shirvan have just opened in the Columbia area.

In case you've missed the fact that Fells Point is one happening place, check out its newest hip eating place. Kali's Court Mezze has just opened -- you guessed it -- next door to Kali's Court Restaurant. But, owners Vasili Keramidas, Karen Patten and Eric Losin have made Mezze a contrast to the airy traditional fine dining feel of Kali's. Keramidas says this time they were going for "contemporary and fun." Mezze pops with Mediterranean colors and curves that suggest sea and sand. Walls are turquoise and butterscotch.

Guys can be great. But sometimes there's no one more "simpatico" than a good girlfriend. And good girlfriends can be hard to come by. Even our favorite bunch of girlfriends is about to desert us when HBO's Sex and the City ends in a week and a half. Walker Hayes to the rescue! This 24-year-old Carroll County native returned to B'more a year ago, after a few years in the Big Apple, and found a dearth of girlfriends. All her old school friends were now living elsewhere. "Unless you work in a place with lots of other women, it's really difficult to meet potential friends," Walker notes.

The Grill Art Cafe has sprung up in the Hampden space that was vacated by the 22-year-old Chinese Pinebrook Restaurant when its owners, Lucy and Bill Chang, retired. Cafe owners Milton Lentz and Rick Roberts revamped the space to give it a hip, comfy feel -- with chartreuse, gold and exposed-brick walls, a checkerboard floor and tables made of custom glass and industrial steel. Exhibits of work by local artists will rotate every six weeks or so. Food-wise, yeah, there is an emphasis on grilled foods.

Spring - and all its colors - may still be around the corner. But a couple of recent hooplas have more than made up for the lack of outdoor decor with over-the-top indoor decorations. For the last few years, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has gone for a one-color theme for its annual Spring Swing bash - tangerine one year, scarlet the next. This year - with the party at M&T Bank Stadium - Ravens' purple seemed a given. A purple passion, to be exact. Committee member Caryl Siems says the 400 guests entered the club-level lounge through a black-draped hallway lighted with black lights.
