The Sunshine State is looking more and more like the Natural Disaster State as the ladies and their husbands continue their vacations. Last episode ended with Jim accusing Bobby of seeing other women, which caused a lot of yelling, cursing and Bobby hiding in the bathroom. The drama continued when Jim made a reference to Rino sleeping with the other Teresa's mother. (Jim is a little rat who needs to learn to keep his mouth shut.) Shall we begin? First, a spoiler alert. Last week, in the real world, we found out that Teresa G. was found guilty of mortgage fraud and will spend 15 months in jail.

Two personnel shifts in the WBAL-TV newsroom are raising eyebrows - a noteworthy imminent departure and a noteworthy recent ascension. First, popular morning and midday news anchor Dina Napoli vanished from the air earlier this month after privately declaring her intention to quit; she was given three weeks paid vacation by the Channel 11 brass to reconsider. Yesterday, after a reporter's inquiries, WBAL publicly acknowledged that Napoli won't be staying at the station. Instead, she's headed to Italy for culinary school.

Each Saturday, Ted Sophocleus visits the grave of his middle daughter in Woodlawn, catching her up on the news of the past week, tidying up and leaving flowers for her. The ritual brings scant comfort to Sophocleus, a state delegate from Linthicum still mourning the loss of Dina Sophocleus Furrow, who died in July 2005 when she was pitched head-first from her husband's motorcycle into a guardrail on her 38th birthday. A short drive away, Stanley R. Furrow, 41, is in a cell, sentenced April 20 to a year in the Anne Arundel County jail after being convicted of manslaughter and driving his Harley- Davidson while drunk.

A 38-year-old woman who was sent to prison last month for 15 years for defrauding friends by claiming she had terminal cancer was sentenced Tuesday to an additional six years. Dina Perouty Leone's conviction in Baltimore County in the cancer scam triggered a probation violation in four earlier cases in Carroll County, where she had been found guilty in a series of mortgage frauds and bad-check cases several years ago. In most of those cases, she was given suspended sentences, which were turned into hard time at Tuesday's hearing.

A 38-year-old Rosedale woman who falsely claimed she was dying of cancer, and who a prosecutor said "ripped off person after person" to pay for nonexistent treatments, was sentenced Thursday to 15 years in prison by a judge who called her a "professional thief. " Dina Perouty Leone, a former real estate agent whose license was revoked in 2007 for unrelated offenses, was ordered to pay restitution of $14,090 to two of her victims, each of whom had lost a parent to cancer before they went to Leone's aid. Leone, who had astonished investigators with her lack of remorse and combative nature when they first interviewed her last year, was contrite and tearful Thursday before the judge, and said she had found religion.
