Former NFL safety Andre Waters has joined Stump Mitchell's staff at Morgan State, where he will serve as defensive backs coach.Waters spent 10 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles before finishing his career in 1995 with the Arizona Cardinals. A longtime friend of Mitchell's, he arrived in the NFL as an unheralded free agent from Cheyney University in Pennsylvania, the same school that inducted new Morgan State athletic director Garnett Purnell into its athletic Hall of Fame."Andre brings a lot to the Morgan coaching staff," said Mitchell, who replaced Ricky Diggs in December.
