Man robs Eldersburg bank, flees across Liberty Road A man robbed a bank in Eldersburg yesterday afternoon and fled on foot across Liberty Road, according to state police at the Westminster barracks. The man entered Westminster Union Bank in the 2000 block of Liberty Road just after 2 p.m. and implied that he had a weapon, although none was shown, police said. No one was injured. The man was described as a black male in his mid-30s, about 6 feet tall and weighing 170 pounds, and wearing a dark blue sweat shirt and blue jeans, according to police.

A man who implied he had a gun robbed a Brooklyn Park fast-food restaurant Friday of an undisclosed amount of money.Police said the mustachioed man with a tan and orange bandanna walked into the Kentucky Fried Chicken in the 5700 block of Ritchie Highway just after 9: 30 p.m. with his hand inside his dark-blue windbreaker, demanded money and threatened to shoot a clerk.The clerk handed over money and the man fled, police said.Pub Date: 4/15/97

A man used a note to rob a bank at Harundale Mall Monday, county police said.A man wearing a dark blue parka and gray sweat pants walked into the Crestar branch in the 7700 block of Ritchie Highway shortly before 2 p.m. and handed a teller a note demanding money, police said.The teller gave the man an undisclosed amount of money, and he fled toward Value City, police said. Deliveryman, pizzeria robbed at gunpointA man with a 9 mm handgun robbed a pizza deliveryman and an Oakland Mills pizza shop as the worker returned to the store early yesterday morning.At 12:40 a.m., police said, a hooded gunman approached the employee in a rear parking lot of Pizza Boli's in the 7100 block of Oakland Mills Road.The robber pulled out a handgun and took an undisclosed amount of money from the employee before forcing him inside the store, which he also robbed, police said.The robber is described as a black male, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a thin mustache.

A 23-year-old Domino's pizza delivery man was robbed early Saturday by two men as he made a delivery at a Long Reach apartment that turned out to be vacant, Howard County police said.The man was making a delivery to an apartment in the 8800 block of Flowerstock Row at 1:10 a.m. when he found that no one lived there, police said.As he was leaving, two men approached, suggested they were armed with a gun and demanded his money.
