I didn't know it was Eat a Peach Day. But indefatigable Dara Bunjon over on Dining Dish did. She posted a great looking recipe for grilled peaches with arugula, prosciutto and ParmReg by Riccardo Bosio of Sotto Sopra . Seems to me we just did something about peaches here at the Baltimore Sun. Speaking of which. Even though we said that peach cakes were something one bought in bakeries, now we're looking for home recipes.

Forward Diandra Tchatchouang and guard Dara Taylor won't be back with the Terps women's basketball team next season, a spokeswoman with the Maryland athletic department confirmed Wednesday night. The news was reported first by The Diamondback. Tchatchouang, who started all 32 games and averaged 8.7 points and 5.0 rebounds, will return to her native France after this semester to rehabilitate from an anterior cruciate ligament injury she suffered during the NCAA tournament. Taylor, a sophomore who averaged 1.7points and 2.2 assists as her playing time declined after 2009-10, will transfer to Penn State.

The National Milk Mustache “got milk? ® ” campaign recently launched the call for entries for the 15th annual Scholar Athlete Milk Mustache of the Year (SAMMY) Awards.   The 2012 SAMMY scholarship recognizes 25 student-athletes who excel in academics, athletics, community service, leadership and who fuel their daily success with milk. Milk Mustache celebrity judges, Dara Torres and Chauncey Billups, will help select 25 winners from across the country who will receive a $7,500 college scholarship.
