Charlie Sheen is not winning in the nation's capital. After selling out within a matter of minutes in both Chicago and Detroit, tickets for the controversial actor's "My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat is Not an Option" show are still available in 17 other cities, including Washington. Sheen's show is mostly an approximately 80-minute spoken-word performance. The tour begins in Detroit on April 2 and wraps in Seattle on May 3. Sheen will appear April 19 at DAR Constitution Hall in Washington.

LOS ANGELES -- The Tune In, Turn On, Burn Out tour -- featuring Sisters of Mercy, Public Enemy, Gang of Four, Warrior Soul and Young Black Teenagers -- has been canceled five days before it was to play in Southern California.Sisters of Mercy spokeswoman Ellen Bello said the tour, which had six dates remaining, was canceled due to "lack of ticket sales."Cities also affected by the cancellation are Dallas, Houston, Phoenix, Denver and Berkeley. Bello said five of the dates were canceled by promoters, and the remaining Berkeley date was canceled by the Sisters of Mercy.
