On November 28, 2005 BILL COULSON of Timonium beloved husband of Karen E. Coulson for 48 years; devoted father of Tom Coulson and his wife Laura and Tim Coulson; loving grandfather of Samantha and Christopher; dear brother of the late Pete and Jerry Coulson. Also survived by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends in the Lemmon Funeral Home of Dulaney Valley, Inc., 10 W. Padonia Road (at York Road), Timonium-Cockeysville on Wednesday, November 30 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Interment private.

As much as I'd love to resolve every consumer gripe that comes my way, the fix sometimes eludes me. Even after several e-mail messages, hours on the phone and days of mediation between warring parties, we can still end up with bupkis. Without a lot of patience, good communication and a willingness by all parties to compromise, resolution can seem almost as likely as winning the lottery without buying a ticket. So I appreciate all those who call in, who take my calls and who cooperate with me, and in some cases go out of their way, to give a smidgen of hope to cynical consumers.

The new head of the FBI's Maryland-Delaware office comes to Baltimore with experience that spans a quarter of a century and includes some of the agency's most notable cases, from the Iran-contra affair to the standoff at the Branch Davidian compound at Waco, Texas.Danny O. Coulson, a 51-year-old Texas native and lawyer, presently is a deputy assistant director of the FBI's criminal investigations division in Washington, where he oversees violent crime operations, domestic terrorism, civil rights investigations and special inquiries for the White House.
