Player of the Year Theo Matthai, Bryn Mawr A four-year starter on varsity, Matthai led the Mawrtians to a 12-8 record in their first year in the Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland A Conference this season. The senior hitter had 12 kills in the Maryland/D.C. private schools tournament semifinals to help the Mawrtians upset No. 8 St. Paul's. Antwan Barnes collected his second sack in his past three games when the rookie linebacker took down Dolphins quarterback Cleo Lemon late in the second quarter of Sunday's game. When Barnes isn't delivering hits, he enjoys other off-field activities. What are your hobbies? I like to go out with friends, play cards and bowl. When I was in Miami, I did a lot of that, and I'm trying to find a bowling alley up here, but it's kind of hard. How good are you at bowling? I'm not that good. I went out and got my own ball and my own shoes and everything, but I'm just starting.
