Two River Hill High School seniors and a 21-year-old man from Clarksville were involved in a two-car accident late Saturday in Clarksville, Howard County police said. The crash occurred after Amy Kaufman, 17, of Ellicott City, driving east on Route 108 about 9 p.m., tried to make a left turn on northbound Route 32, police said. According to police, Kaufman, who was driving a Plymouth Neon, did not yield the right of way to a Honda Civic driven by Charlie Kim, 21, of Clarksville. Kaufman and her passenger, Kristen Brillantes, 17, also of Ellicott City, were flown to Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.
