Michael Francis Connor, a retired Social Security Administration claims authorizer and a World War II infantryman, died Saturday of a rare disease, amyloidosis, at Gilchrist Hospice Care. The longtime Parkville resident was 85. Mr. Connor was born at home on Allegheny Avenue in Towson. After graduating from Towson Catholic High School in 1941, he worked at Black & Decker Corp. before being drafted into the Army in 1943. Mr. Connor served as a rifleman with the 29th Infantry Division in Europe, until being discharged in 1946.

(nee Malinowski) LICATO; beloved wife of the late Samuel Licato; devoted mother of Anthony Licato and his wife Elaine and Lauren Licato and boyfriend Anthony Jones; loving grandmother of Christopher Licato; sister of Rita White, Dorothy Clifford and the late Florian, Bernard, Marion Malinowski, Theresa Needleman, Jeanette Cichowicz, Virginia Daniels, Nora Bruni and Helen Szczybor.
