Marymount advances to face host St. Mary's in the semifinals at 7 p.m. Thursday. More men: Devin Jones and Greg Palmer had 16 points in a losing effort as Salisbury fell to Wesley, 82-64, in a first-round CAC game. The Sea Gulls (13-12, 9-7) turned the ball over 13 times in the first half. ... Junior Steven Ogg scored 24 points to carry host Frostburg State to an 89-81 victory over Mount Aloysius in the first round of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference tournament.

Colleges King's 2 goals lift Stevenson in CAC soccer quarterfinal Stevenson junior Tyler King (Calvert Hall) scored twice and sophomore Ryan Flannelly made five saves as the host Mustangs posted their sixth consecutive win with a 3-0 victory in the first round of the Capital Athletic Conference men's soccer championship. The victory sends fourth-seeded Stevenson (11-8) to the semifinals for the second time in the past three years, where it will face top seed and defending champion Salisbury.

Adrianne Ross scored 21 points to lead four players in double figures as Texas Christian defeated Coppin State, 85-55, last night at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum, concluding the Eagles' two-game swing through Texas. The Eagles lost, 61-58, to Southern Methodist on Thursday, but TCU dominated the Eagles from the outset. TCU (4-5) shot 61.3 percent from the field in the first half on its way to a 48-17 lead at halftime while limiting Coppin State to 21.9 percent shooting. The Eagles (4-7) shot 55.9 percent from the field in the second half but never got closer than the final margin.

Amanda Robinson scored 16 points and the host UMBC women's basketball team won its third straight, a 63-37 decision over Binghamton last night. The Retrievers (11-8, 3-5 America East) produced a 32-3 run from midway in the first half to the opening minutes of the second. The Bearcats (12-7, 5-3) committed 21 turnovers and were outscored 34-8 on turnovers. Binghamton finished with a season-low 37 points on 29.2 percent shooting from the field. York 68, Goucher 51 -- Shadae Swan led all scorers with 17 points, but the host Gophers (6-9, 2-7 Capital Athletic Conference)

Senior midfielder Linda Ackermann scored three goals and had two assists as Salisbury captured its third straight Capital Athletic Conference championship in women's lacrosse with a 16-8 victory over Goucher yesterday. The Sea Gulls (12-0) are No. 1 in Division III and have won 23 of their past 24 games dating back to last season. The visiting Gophers (8-7) were led by freshman Emily Blatter's three goals and one assist. No. 4 Dartmouth 12, No. 3 Princeton 9: The win was the first for the host Big Green (13-0, 7-0)

The UMBC women's basketball team broke a four-game losing streak with a 59-51 victory over America East Conference rival-Boston University last night at RAC Arena. Brittnie Hughes turned in a career-high 16 points as the Retrievers (6-6, 2-1) shot 44.7 percent from the field, making 17 of 38 attempts. The Retrievers turned momentum in their favor late in the first half, finishing with a 10-0 run after trailing 28-24 with 4.57 remaining. Matea Pender, who was leading the nation in three-point shooting entering the week (62.5 percent)
