Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd.

LeRoy C. "Roy" Orndorff, a retired automotive service manager who enjoyed cooking, died Wednesday of cancer at Anne Arundel Medical Center. He was 67. Mr. Orndorff was born in Baltimore and raised in Annapolis. After graduating from Annapolis High School in 1961, he enrolled at Lincoln Institute, from which he graduated. Mr. Orndorff spent his business career as a service manager for automobile dealerships in Annapolis and Washington. He retired in 2005 from Dar Cars in Lanham.

On Friday, January 31, 2003, JOHN EDWIN PRESSER, 87, of Cape Coral and formerly of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away. Born in Baltimore, Maryland on July 15, 1915 to John and Elizabeth Presser. Survived by his brother George Irving Presser of Baltimore. John worked for Proctor and Gamble in Baltimore for 42 years and retired to Cape Coral in 1975. He served his country in WWII in the U.S. Army retiring as a Major. John was past Commander of the Legion of Honor of the mid Atlantic Association, a member of the Cape Coral Shrine Club, Fort Myers Masonic Club, a Life Member of Cape Coral VFW and the Cape Coral Elks.

GORDON THOMAS GRIFFITHS, 65, of Cape Coral, Florida passed away April 25, 2006. He was born May 12, 1941 in Pottsville, PA. the son of Thomas and Bertha (Leach) Griffiths. Gordon owned and operated Mr. G's Restaurant in Baltimore, Maryland for many years. He later worked for the City of Cape Coral Water Department for 20 years where he enjoyed being with his co-workers. He leaves to cherish his loving memory, his 1st wife Carolyn Heffernan of North Fort Myers, FL., three children Victoria Gise of Frederick, Maryland, Susan Griffiths of Fort Myers, FL and Robin Wisnosky of Washington, D.C. as well as seven grandchildren.

Daisy Adele Watkins, a homemaker and Sunday school teacher, died of Alzheimer's disease complications Saturday at the Barton House in Nashville, Tenn., where she had been living for the past five years. She was 83 and a former Kingsville and Joppatowne resident. Born Daisy Adele Lehman in Baltimore and raised on Aisquith Street, she attended city public schools. In 1944 she married Glenn A. Watkins Jr., who was an Army Air Corps pilot during World War II, in Eagle Pass, Texas. She later assisted him in his architectural practice.
