Jean Wardenfelt and her husband Edward; loving grandfather of Edward Wardenfelt and Sherry Javier; dear brother of Arthur Bussey; uncle of Rose Marshall and her two daughters, Rhonda and Shari; also survived by six great-grandchildren. The couple, in their 50s, married in a quaint ceremony in Tulsa, Okla., on Sept. 29 before honeymooning at a friend's cabin in Montana. On Sunday, they set out in the husband's twin-engine Cessna 310, planning to fly home to Baltimore with a stop in Wisconsin on the way. But the plane crashed about 11:50 a.m. in a field outside Ekalaka, Mont., killing John R. Doshier, 51, and his wife, Sue Crews Doshier, 54, said Carter County Sheriff Rusty Jardee. Both were pronounced dead on the scene, Jardee said.

Mother, Educator, Legacy of Love Eva L. Bussey, 69, Lanham, Maryland, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2006, in Kokomo, IN, just 10 days prior to her 70th birthday. Mrs. Bussey was born April 22, 1936 in Tatum, Texas, the only child of Willis Napoleon (Go-Lie) Gray and Hazel Brown Gray. She attended Douglass Elementary School and Kokomo High School in the Howard County School Systems in Kokomo, IN. She attended Trinity College, and graduated from Central State College in 1959 with a Bachelor of Science & Education degree in Elementary Education.

Former county public works supervisor Gary W. Bussey has been ordered to serve three years on probation and perform 200 hours of community service for stealing $158,000 in county property to supply his backyard auto shop.Anne Arundel County Circuit Judge Clayton R. Greene Jr. suspended Monday a one-year jail term for the Severn man. In November, Bussey, 45, of the 1700 block of Severn Road entered an Alford plea to felony theft; he did not admit guilt but conceded there was evidence to convict him.Bussey used the county purchasing system to acquire paint, welding machinery, paint guns, impact wrenches and other equipment between July 1992 and March 1995.

Michael Eugene Bussey, the last surviving member of the 1926 Dyott Expedition that confirmed Theodore Roosevelt's 1914 exploration of Brazil's treacherous River of Doubt, died Saturday of complications of cancer at his home in Odessa, Texas. The former Baltimorean was 88.Mr. Bussey dropped out of high school and ran away to the sea to work as a ship's radio operator. He was an 18-year-old waiting for another ship job in New York when he learned that British explorer George Miller Dyott needed a radio operator for his expedition to photograph and report all evidence sustaining Roosevelt's trip.

A Baltimore Circuit Court jury has awarded more than $5 million to the family of a 68-year-old woman who died after suffering a fall at Harbor Hospital in 2001. Anna Mae Bussey of Baltimore fell and broke her hip while she was a patient. The fall precipitated a chain of events that resulted in Bussey's death a month later, said the attorney for her family, Alan J. Belsky. Bussey, who was taking blood-thinning medication at the time of the fall, had to stop taking the medicine to undergo surgery.

Timothy Earl Meile, an insulation installer and Chestertown resident, died of undetermined causes Thursday at a sister's Aberdeen home. He was 22. The family is awaiting results of toxicology tests that should show the cause of death, said his maternal grandmother, Dolly Bussey of Millington. Mr. Meile was born in Baltimore and raised in Brooklyn Park and Aberdeen, where he attended Aberdeen High School. In 2001, he moved to Chestertown and went to work for Jim Bussey Construction Co., a home improvement firm.
