Walton soon added sarcastically: "Put this first half in a time capsule." To which play-by-play man Brent Musburger tacked on: "And bury it forever." During a discussion about the possible trade of Pacers malcontent Ron Artest, Jones said: "Ron Artest is not at an All-Star level.

Also survived by 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Michaels Chapel, St. Michaels, MD on Friday, August 1, 2003 at 10:30 A.M. It seemed reasonable that Leo Buscemi would be out hitting golf balls in the yard behind his Tilghman Island home. Never mind the snow on the ground and the sub-freezing temperatures.Practicing and/or playing golf is something this 83-year-old former Baltimore resident does 365 days a year."No, as a matter of fact, I haven't been out in a while; I'm just getting over pneumonia," Buscemi said from the Eastern Shore last week. "I have to wait for the weather to warm up just a little."In the meantime, I got myself a new putter.

PAUL BUSCEMI: of Sykesville is the organizer of the model rail car fund-raising project for the Western Maryland Railway Historical Society.For 11 years, he has organized the manufacture and sale of HO-gauge model kits of Western Maryland Railway cars. The kits are sold to raise money for upkeep of the society's museum in Union Bridge.Mr. Buscemi also has reproduced and sold compilations of back issues of the society's newsletter, "The Blue Mountain Express."He joined the Western Maryland Railway Historical Society in 1980, and was appointed chairman of the model car committee two years later.

About 150 union members, Baltimore residents and environmentalists rallied outside a Hawkins Point medical incinerator yesterday to protest a stalemate in contract negotiations that has left 70 workers unemployed since the company locked them out in June.The protesters began gathering outside the incinerator at 3200 Hawkins Point Road, owned by Phoenix Services Inc., about 4: 30 p.m. The incinerator is on the southern edge of the city, just north of the Anne Arundel County line.The rally, organized by the Metropolitan Baltimore Council AFL-CIO Unions, drew supporters from the United Auto Workers, the Communications Workers of America and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, among other unions.
