America's most famous aborted person sat down to an interview in a Maryland restaurant recently and talked about how normal she is. She's a teen-ager -- just turned 15 -- who enjoys movies like "Wayne's World," idolizes hot Christian singer Amy Grant, likes boys, hangs out at malls, wears jeans with flowers painted on them, giggles a lot."I'm just real normal. A normal, normal teen-ager," insists Gianna Jessen, who has a cascade of long blond hair decorated by two braids strung with red hearts.

County police are looking for a 21-year-old developmentally disabled Riviera Beach woman who disappeared Sunday after she left a friend's house.According to police, Kathy Renee Scott, who has the mental capacity of an 8-year-old, walked to a friend's house near her home in the 8500 block of Maine Ave. shortly before 6 a.m. She arrived safelybut has not been seen since she left moments later, police said.Scott is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 201 pounds. She has a light complexion, blue eyes, curly brown hair below her shoulders and widely spaced teeth.

Baltimore County police are searching for a Frederick man accused of attempted murder and credit card fraud.Donald Carroll Stepp Jr., 31, whose last known address was the 600 block of Stonegate Road, is accused of putting a handgun to the head of an acquaintance in Essex on Dec. 22. Police said Stepp also is accused of 30 counts of credit card theft and misuse.Stepp is described as white, 6 feet tall and weighing 125 pounds, with and brown hair. He also uses the name Ronnie Adams and should be considered dangerous, police said.

State police in Westminster are searching for a young man who pulled a knife and robbed the Whistle Stop convenience store in Patapsco on Saturday afternoon after asking for change. The robbery occurred about 1 p.m. at the store in the 2800 block of Patapsco Road, police said. The man produced a bill for change then pulled a knife as the clerk opened the register. Police describe the robber as white, about 25 years old, 6 feet 1 inch tall and 180 pounds, with short brown hair and a goatee.

A man wielding a knife robbed a clerk at a Woodbine convenience store Wednesday night and fled on foot, according to state police in Westminster. The robber entered the 7-Eleven store in the 7600 block of Woodbine Road near Interstate 70 about 10:40 p.m. and demanded cash, police said The clerk told police the man displayed a knife with an 8-inch blade. She described the man as white, 18 to 20 years old, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing about 150 pounds. He had dirty blond to light brown hair.

Suspect in burglary sought Baltimore County police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who burglarized an Eastern Baltimore County restaurant. A man broke into the Golden Corral restaurant in the 7900 block of Eastern Ave. about 2:40 a.m. Nov. 2, through a ventilation grate and took an undisclosed amount of money from a safe, police said. The suspect, who was caught on surveillance camera, was described as a white male, 25 to 30 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall, with a medium build and brown hair.

The FBI requested the public's help yesterday in finding a suspect in a string of bank robberies by a note-passing bandit in Baltimore, Howard and Montgomery counties. The suspect, Christopher Michael Cline, 28, whose last known address was in Gaithersburg, was named as a suspect in holdups Oct. 18 at an M&T Bank branch in Towson and Nov. 8 at a Sandy Spring Bank in Colesville. He is wanted for questioning in other robberies between Oct. 15 and Saturday, the FBI said. Cline is white, 5 feet 6 inches tall and 180 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair.

The robbery of a Hampstead gift store Tuesday evening is the sixth such crime in the Route 30 corridor in recent weeks and may have been committed by the same man, Hampstead police said yesterday. The man entered the Holy Cow shop in the 1300 block of Main St. about 6 p.m. Tuesday and walked around briefly before starting a conversation and asking for change, said Capt. Jay Gribbin. The robber then ordered the clerk to lie on the floor and grabbed an undisclosed amount of cash from the open register, police said.
