Megan Noelle Markline and M. Thomas Newman II were united in marriage May 28 at Emory United Methodist Church in Street. Rev. John Galyen, uncle of the groom, officiated. The bride is the daughter of Robert and Elizabeth Markline, of Aberdeen. The groom is the son of Jeff and Susan Newman, ofHuntsville, Ala. The maid of honor was childhood friend Ashley Edwards. The bridesmaids, also childhood friends, were Juli Humphreys, Nicole Petersen, Kristie Bon and Kristen Frick.

Andrea (Ani) Elise Quinby, daughter of Dennis and Mary Ellen Quinby, of Timonium, MD, was wed to Brendan William Boyd, son of Mary Boyd, of Charlotte, NC and William Boyd, of Atlanta, GA, on October 9, 2004. The ceremony was held at Timonium United Methodist Church. Dr. Rev. Fred Crider officiated. The reception followed at the Baltimore Marriott Inner Harbor. The groom's mother hosted the rehearsal dinner at Germano's Trattoria in Little Italy. The Maid of Honor was Susan Goebel. Aiken performed the ceremony during a nuptial mass. The bride is the daughter of Celeste H. and Francis X. Walsh, Jr. of Westminster, MD and the groom is the son of Rosa and Adolf Mueller of Hilton Head Island, SC and Wernberg, Austria. The bride, who wore an ivory organza and lace gown, was given in marriage by her father.

Meghan Kathryn Harkins, daughter of Edgar I. and Nancy D. Harkins of Whiteford, and Philip Charles Boyer, son of Charles Boyer and Jacqueline and Gerald Williams of Reading, Pa. were married on December 2, 2006 at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Baltimore. Father John Williamson officiated the Nuptial Mass. Jared Taylor did the first scripture reading. Liz Johnson read the second scripture, and Darlene Hetinger read the Prayer of the Faithful. She is a law clerk in the Baltimore chambers of Judge Diana Gribbon Motz of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit. Her late father, Dr. Stephen E. Straus, was the director of the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda. Her mother, Barbara E. Straus, retired as the assistant to the principal at Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School in Rockville.
