The Marriage of Miss Maria Patricia Battaglia of Sparks, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John J. Battaglia, Sr. of Sparks to Mr. Robert William Bieneman of Baltimore, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark G. Bieneman of Baltimore took place on New Year's Eve, December 31, 2006 at The Church of the Annunciation. The Reverend William P. Foley and the Reverend Monsignor Roy M. Klister officiated. The bride was escorted by her father. Victoria Battaglia, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Rebecca Law, Regina Bieneman, sisters of the groom, Patricia Wehner, Jill Leitch, Kiersten Palmer, Sarah Bayne, Kristi Kincaid and Meredith Hauf.

Rachel Leah Hester Markline and Jared Leigh Dockery Sr. were married Sept. 3 at Geneva Farms Golf Club. The ceremony was held outside at the gazebo with the reception following inside. The bride is the daughter of Robert and Elizabeth Markline, of Aberdeen. The groom is the son of Pauline Gladwell, of Dayton, Tenn. and the late Warren Dockery. The maid of honor was best friend, Lydia Siebert. The bridesmaids were friends: Erin Parlett, Gretchen Sexton and April Dunn. The best man was friend of the groom, Jeremy Parlett.

Elizabeth Lynn McSpadden, daughter of Jay and Betsy McSpadden, of Havre de Grace, and Adam Joseph Hasenfus, son of Eric and Cheryl Hasenfus, of Rome, Maine, were married June 24 at the Kent Manor Inn on Kent Island. The ceremony was performed by Harford County Circuit Court Judge Emory A Plitt Jr. Megan Jollett, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Stacie McSpadden, sister-in-law of the bride, Leah Smith and Shauna Myles, sisters of the groom, Abbie Moyer, Kerri DiMartino, Angela Berger, Heather McHugh, Katie Quinzi and Kim Bageant , friends of the bride.

The marriage of Miss Lindsay Warren Carter, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Hill Carter, Jr. of Ashland, to Noah Morgan Gerstmyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Randall Gerstmyer of Baltimore, took place on Saturday, September 30 at Fork Episcopal Church in Doswell, VA. The Reverend Anne Kirchmier and The Reverend Tom Smith officiated. The bride, given in marriage by her father, is the granddaughter of Mrs. Emily Carter Jones and the late Dudley Mitchell Jones of Wilson, North Carolina and the late Dr. and Mrs. Hill Carter, Sr. of Ashland.

Edith Brooks Sneeringer and Stephen Edward Schatz were married at the Shrine of the Sacred Heart in Baltimore, Maryland on May 10, 2008. The bride was attended by her sister Ms. K. Tierney Sneeringer and the groom by his brother Mr. Michael J. Schatz Jr.. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Jesse L.H. Brooks and the step-daughter of Mr. A. Gregory Manuel of Timonium. The bride is the grand-daughter of Mrs. John H. Brooks Sr. and the late Mr. Brooks of Timonium. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael J. Schatz Sr. of Rego Park, New York.

Gail Marie Cinoski and James Andrew Rupert were married June 18, at the Church of St. Mary of the Mills in Laurel. A reception following the ceremony was held at the Historic Savage Mill. Ashley Fox, friend of the bride was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Amy Kosmer, sister of the groom, and Marybeth Rickard and Johanna Strokoff, friends of the bride and Amanda Beich, cousin of the bride. The best man was Brian Rupert, brother of the groom; others in the wedding party were: Adam Kosmer, brother-in-law of the groom, Edward Cinoski, brother of the bride, and Joshua Gorub and Brian Lewis, friends of the groom.

Shana R. Hall and Edward Graves, II were married on August 18, 2007 at Grey Rock Mansion in Pikesville, Maryland. The bride is the daughter of Arthur L. Hall of Baltimore and The Rev. Jaki Hall of Pikesville, Maryland, and the groom is the son of Edward Graves, I and Margaret Graves of Philadelphia. The Maid of Honor was Keonne P. Sullivan, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Sariyah S. Buchanan, Crystal M. Russell, Terron A. King, Toni V. Barrett, and Larissa C. Walters. Flower Girls were Tyler Zeigler and Ella Zeigler, cousins of the bride.

Kimberly Ann Britcher and Daryl Sean Harris were married Sept. 10 at the Kitty Knight House in Georgetown. The bride was attended by Samantha Britcher as the maid of honor; Leslie Wheeler and Bridgette Britcher were bridesmaids. Chris Lambert served as the best man, while Phil Cheeks and Steve White were groomsmen. The bride is the daughter of Dennis and Jean Britcher, of Belcamp. The groom is the son of Dennis and Doris Harris, of Perryville.

Amie Lynn Palatucci and Nicholas Hunt Altenburger were married on May 27 at Mountain Branch Golf and Country Club in Joppa. The bride is the daughter of Michael Palatucci of Fallston and Carol Murillo of Santa Barbara, Calif. The groom is the son of Michael Altenburger of Easton, Pa., and Kevin and Phyllis Andrews of Bel Air. The bride is a 2002 graduate of Fallston High School and earned her bachelor's degree at the University of North Florida. She is the manager of Cortello, a popular hair salon in Jacksonville Beach.

Megan Noelle Markline and M. Thomas Newman II were united in marriage May 28 at Emory United Methodist Church in Street. Rev. John Galyen, uncle of the groom, officiated. The bride is the daughter of Robert and Elizabeth Markline, of Aberdeen. The groom is the son of Jeff and Susan Newman, ofHuntsville, Ala. The maid of honor was childhood friend Ashley Edwards. The bridesmaids, also childhood friends, were Juli Humphreys, Nicole Petersen, Kristie Bon and Kristen Frick.
