It's "Amazing Race" time again! It's been so long since we enjoyed Phil Keoghan and his eyebrow and his hats. The sight still takes my breath away, especially when he's staring at the water in Bora Bora. And I need some eye candy right now because instead of shirtless Chippendales, this season gives us a taxidermist with a mighty mullet. Are you ready for some teams? Chuck and Wynona , married for 15 years. He likes to "kill the animal, eat the animal, mount the animal, and keep the memory on the wall forever.

Baltimore Ravens strong safety James Ihedigbo harbors no fears, especially when it comes to going face to face with his opponents. Ihedigbo's teammates get a kick out of his focus and intensity. Ihedigbo was so deeply immersed "in the zone" after forcing a near-interception (it was later called back) against the Miami Dolphins, he completely missed coach John Harbaugh's congratulatory chest bump - cameras caught him trotting past his leaping coach. But Ihedigbo clearly likes to celebrate.

Welcome to Week Two of "The Amazing Race," featuring the Secret Alliance Fight Club and also the Alliance of Quitters. The Race remains in Bora Bora this week, so let's get started because it's so pretty. We'll totally keep our end of the deal, probably Jessica and John, the dating couple, Team J&J for this leg, won two Express Passes last week. The top eight teams bunch up on the beach in the morning while waiting for water taxis, and Father/Son approach them about the second pass, which is theirs under the terms of the alliance.

Getting there Bora Bora is part of the Leeward Island cluster within the Society Islands of French Polynesia. It's renowned as one of the most beautiful islands, with scenic vistas and a lagoon often described as an artist's palette of green and blue hues. Of course, beauty comes at a price. Bora Bora is about 13 hours from Baltimore by plane and can take up to 18 hours of travel time, including layovers. Travelers fly to Los Angeles and transfer to a flight into Papeete,Tahiti, where they switch for a 50-minute flight to Bora Bora.

BORA-BORA, FRENCH POLYNESIA // A dream landscape emerged as our dinghy sped through turquoise waters toward the uninhabited South Seas islet of Tapu. Here, on a triangular speck of sand and coconut palms at the bottom of the world, red hibiscus, white gardenia and yellow plumeria blossoms were strewn on the water at land's edge. As we stepped from the boat, a sommelier offered flutes bubbling with Dom Perignon. Behind him, china and crystal sparkled on a dining table positioned in shallow water at the edge of the lagoon.

Lift spirits with tote The candy-colored plastic totes for sale at the Baltimore Public Works Museum's gift shop are more than an attractive way to haul lunch or pumps back and forth between the office and home: Sales of the bags go to two good causes. Crafted from the discarded plastic straps from shipping crates, the bags are hand-woven by women who live in a small Burmese village where there are few employment opportunities for women. Proceeds from the bags benefit this women's cooperative as well as the popular Inner Harbor museum.
