(1918-2007) LUTHER GRAND BOND, Sr., first son of the late James Emory and Isabella Grand Bond died in his home at 65 Canal Street, Millbury, MA, on September 3, 2007. Born in Baltimore, MD, on January 30, 1918, Luther Bond was 89 years old and the second child in a family of ten. He lived most of his life, proudly, in his hometown of Baltimore, MD. He married his sweetheart, Joy Louise Mitchell, daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Albert J. Mitchell of 1836 McCulloh Street on August 31, 1941; however, married life was interrupted when he was drafted into the U.S. Army to fight for his country during WWII.

Dear brother of Thomas Bond, Baltimore, MD. Survived by his grandchildren Johanna Lynn Bond, Jordan Schafer Bond, Cameron Bond Raia, Gregory Paul Bond and Maxmillian Alexander Bond. Also survived by devoted friends Herbert Kelsey, Barbara Goodson, Patricia Murphy, Santa Acosta, and many others.

The 49-year-old woman who police say helped her son and another youth try to conceal the shooting death of 13-year-old Monae Turnage was taken into custody and is being held on $500,000 bond.  The hefty bail amount for Veronica Alford, who turned herself in early Wednesday, was first set by a District Court commissioner, but reaffirmed at a morning bail reviewing hearing at Central Booking, court records show. "It's beyond high - it's offensively outrageous," said Alford's attorney, Isaac Klein, who said he argued at the hearing that Alford was not a flight risk, had no previous criminal record, and was not a threat to public safety because her alleged involvement came after the fact.

On November 20, 2005 ROBERT R. BOND, Age 82, of Baltimore (formerly of New Orleans). Devoted husband of the late Gloria (nee Callis) Bond; beloved father of Cissy Bohannon, Ann Bond Parker, Elisabeth Bond Arnolds, Peggy Kaiser and Hartel Stout; loving grandfather of Shannon, Alex and Madeline. WASHINGTON - Everybody's trying to figure out what's going on in North Korean President Kim Jong Il's goofy head these days. Maybe the answer is in the movies. President Bush's policy has made the same embarrassing error that the producers of the latest James Bond movie, Die Another Day, did: It has managed to unite the two Koreas in opposition to it. Movies mean a lot to Mr. Kim. It is said that he spends at least two hours a day surfing the Web, and watching TV, including lots of Hollywood movies and South Korean soap operas.

On May 9, 2005 RUTH BOND MICKENS; loving mother of Lois Mickens-Mc Millan (Professor of English, Morgan State University) and Hannibal Mickens, Jr. (Sr. Examiner with the State of Maryland Insurance Administration. She is also survived by sister Edith Bond Mercer, Mandy Bond Bymum, Pearl Bond Dean, Chloe Bond and brothers Luther Grant Bond and Frank Bond Sr.; grandchildren, Anita M. Mickens, Tiffany B. Mc Millan, Jessica P. Mickens Williams, Angela Howell, Sally Mc Millan and David Mc Millan; great-grandchildren Mark Benjamin and Antoine; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

On November 14, 2005, BRUCE H. BOND, devoted son of Delphine C. and the late Edward J. Bond, III, brother of Edward J. Bond, IV and his wife Bonnie. Also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends.
