Baltimore is blessed with a bunch of talented sports bloggers who bring their unique perspective to the conversation. I often link up to these local writers in my morning Coffee Companion posts, but instead of just exchanging anti-social links with them, I have decided to be slightly less anti-social by exchanging emails with them in a somewhat regular feature called Blogger on Blogger. Today's blogger is Daniel Moroz of Camden Crazies , one of the many outstanding Orioles blogs in the Baltimore blogosphere.

If you keep up with pop culture, Hollywood's glitterati and, particularly, the "black" blogosphere, you've probably heard of celebrity blogger "Necole Bitchie. " Necole Kane, who grew up on the Eastern Shore and lived in Baltimore for several years while attending Morgan State and Towson universities, is the visionary and CEO behind Necolebitchie.com, one of the hottest urban gossip websites in the country. The site, which debuted in 2007 and has built a cultlike fan following, dishes up a mix of celebrity entertainment news, pop culture, music and fashion via posts, photos and video interviews on "Bitchie TV," her YouTube channel.

Two weeks after the Washington Redskins hired progressive political blogger Ben Tribbett to help defend the team's controversial name, Tribbett announced on Twitter late Monday that he will resign. "Obv. this issue with Redskins is one where I don't see eye to eye with some friends. I just don't agree with the attacks on the team name," Tribbett tweeted. Tribbett, 34, told The Washington Post on Monday night that his position on the name has not changed. "I supported the Redskins before I took this job. … I think that's how they found me. I still support them.

With the Major League Baseball All-Star Game coming up fast and the July 31 non-waiver trade deadline looming on the horizon, I decided to make the call to the bullpen for Heath Bintliff of the fine Baltimore Orioles blog Dempsey's Army for this installment of Blogger on Blogger.

One of the region's nightmares — the kidnapping and murder of an 11-year-old girl on Maryland's Eastern Shore during Christmas 2009 — came to its public conclusion Tuesday morning at the Elkton courthouse. The accused killer, a 31-year-old convicted sex offender named Thomas Leggs, pleaded guilty and received life in prison without the possibility of parole. The family of the victim, Sarah Foxwell, had asked the state not to pursue capital punishment. "The Foxwell family has told me that they do not want a lifetime of anguish and appeals, due to the extreme stress, havoc and grief the death of Sarah has caused them and their need to begin healing from this horrible, despicable crime," the Wicomico County state's attorney, Matthew Maciarello, told reporters.

Now that the NFL season is here, I'm putting a twist on my weekly Blogger on Blogger series. Each week, I hope to enlist a blogger who regularly writes about the Ravens' opponent to help me break down the game. This week, I exchanged emails with Stephanie Stradley, who blogs about the Houston Texans for Ultimate Texans . MV: J.J. Watt was the NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 2012, recording a ridiculous number of sacks for a player who is predominantly a defensive end in a 3-4 front.

Hello, Baltimore. I'm the newest writer on the Married in Maryland blog, and will be chronicling my journey from girlfriend to wife. I'm sure I'll use my space here to talk about centerpieces, dresses, guest lists and all that gooey wedding stuff - - but I hope I'll also remember to focus on the non-material things that being engaged is also about.  I thought to kick things off I'd tell you my engagement story, which is still fresh in my mind as it was only a few weeks ago. But quickly, the back story: I'd been dating my boyfriend Sam for over a decade, and many of those years were long distance.

SARASOTA, Fla. -- Orioles manager Buck Showalter walked into the interview room near the team's clubhouse after a 9-2 spring training victory over a split squad of the Pittsburgh Pirates at Ed Smith Stadium. With his team averaging nearly eight runs per game, Showalter was in a good mood after slugger Chris Davis had three straight hits to raise his average to.533 while the team batting average rose to .314. The assembled media, mostly from Baltimore and Sarasota publications, began the daily give-and-take with Showalter when perhaps the most pressing question came from Sydney Hudak.

An Ellicott City man pleaded guilty Friday to stabbing to death prominent businessman and blogger Dennis Lane, whose daughter asked for the killing because she was "sick" of her father, according to prosecutors. Jason A. Bulmer, 20, pleaded guilty to first-degree murder without making a statement to the court, then listened as prosecutors described a bloody struggle between the two men outside a bedroom in Lane's Ellicott City home as his 14-year-old daughter, Morgan Lane Arnold, stood nearby crying.

In this week's edition of Blogger on Blogger, I reached out to Baltimore Sports and Life blogger Daniel Bryden, who does a great job breaking down the Ravens , to wrap up the season. I would recommend you follow Dan on Twitter . MV: The running game was the team's biggest issue this season with much of the ire being directed at run game coordinator Juan Castillo. The Ravens have been using zone blocking for years, though. How did Castillo tweak the scheme and why was the running game such a massive?

Married in Maryland gives locals a chance to share their wedding experiences throughout the planning process. The blogger writes up until just before his or her big day, but don't you want to know how it went?  I would like to share how former blogger Katie Mercado (now MacNichol)'s wedding went. Katie is one of my best friends and I was lucky enough to be asked to be a bridesmaid.  Her wedding weekend was absolutely perfect, and I think I can speak for her when I say it was just as she imagined it would be. Katie and Sam's wedding ceremony and reception were held at Morningside Inn in Frederick.
