A 17-year-old Loyola Blakefield high school student was killed and a 17-year-old girl was injured when their cars collided head-on on Jarrettsville Pike in northern Baltimore County yesterday morning, police said. A southbound 1997 BMW driven by Dennis Woolford of the first block of Glenberry Court in Jacksonville went out of control, crossed a double yellow line and collided with a northbound 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee in the 13500 block of Jarrettsville Pike near Jacksonville, said police spokesman Bill Toohey.

The Harford County Council last week introduced bills that would pave the way for a 36-hole golf course near Havre de Grace, help the county open up a police precinct in Edgewood and allow the 911 emergency center to add employees.County Executive Eileen M. Rehrmann is supporting a Pennsylvania developer's plan to build a $30 million golf course on the Blenheim property, about 550 acres south of Havre de Grace.Tuesday night, the council introduced a bill at her request that would make it easier for the developer to build the golf course.

In Baltimore County Man from Edgewood charged in killing of Catonsville girl TOWSON -- A 24-year-old Edgewood man was charged yesterday with first-degree murder in the killing of a Catonsville girl who had run away from home, county police said. Police said they charged Curtis Jerome McKissett of the 400 block of Sedgemore Court in the death of 13-year-old Sarah Jane Forrester. He was being held yesterday without bail. A child walking to school last May found Forrester's body near a playground at a Woodlawn apartment complex.
