WJZ meteorologist Bernadette Woods is leaving the CBS-owned station to join a non-profit firm in New Jersey focused on climate change, she said Wednesday night. Woods, who has been with WJZ for seven years, said she will remain at the station helping with the transition for the next month. After that, she, her husband and their two children will be moving to Princeton, N.J., where she will join Climate Central as staff meteorologist. "I'm very excited about the opportunity in Princeton," she said.

Bernadette Feeley Rouse, a homemaker and hospital volunteer, died of cancer Thursday at her Timonium home. She was 88. Born Bernadette Feeley in Baltimore and raised on Guilford Avenue, she was the daughter of Theresa and Jerome Feeley. A 1942 graduate of the Institute of Notre Dame, she worked for the Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Co. as a young woman. In 1948, she married Charles R. Rouse, a Navy lieutenant commander and later a Social Security Administration policy specialist.

JENNIFER JONES, 90 Actress won Oscar for 'Song of Bernadette' Jennifer Jones, an actress who won an Academy Award for playing a saint in "The Song of Bernadette" and became a popular sinner in Hollywood melodramas including "Duel in the Sun" and "Love is a Many-Splendored Thing," died Thursday at her home in Malibu, Calif. By most accounts, Ms. Jones' career faltered under the guidance of producer David O. Selznick, her second husband and one of the most powerful moguls in Hollywood.
