Senior center jewelry sale The Annapolis Senior Activity Center, 119 S. Villa Ave., will hold a jewelry show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 18-19. Baked goods will be sold Nov. 18. Battle of the Bands Anne Arundel County's annual high school rock band contest will be from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Jan. 16 at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts, 801 Chase St., Annapolis. Bands from local high schools will compete. Proceeds benefit school music programs.
