FIRE* Lineboro: Engines from the Lineboro fire station were dispatched for a call of wires down on Main St. at 9:58 p.m. Tuesday. The wires were pulled down by a piece of farm equipment, a fire official said. Units were out for two hours while Baltimore Gas and Electric Co. workers reattached wires to a house.

A photo caption in Thursday's Sun may have left unclear the ability of Baltimore Gas and Electric Co. to correct a computer limitation involving dates beyond the year 1999.In fact, the utility company has been updating its computer systems to avoid any problems and expects all changes to be completed in advance of the turn of the century.

Engineer,85Funeral services took place for former Pasadena resident Raymond Selmer Johnson on Friday, March 1, at Parkwood Cementery.Mr. Johnson, 85, died Feb. 25 at Mercy Hospital.He earned a graduate degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Engineering and worked as an engineer for the Baltimore Gas and Electric Co.

BG&E closed yesterday at $26.25 a share, up 25 cents. The correct stock pricefor BG&E is published in today's stock tables.

A transformer problem at the Crownsville substation knocked out power for about 5,000 area residents yesterday afternoon, a Baltimore Gas and Electric Co. spokesman said.Power went out at 4:28 p.m. and was restored by 5:48 p.m, Karl Neddenien said.
