At least four males were injured and one was killed after a shooting last night in the 500 block of Baker St. in Druid Heights, a police dispatcher said.Police said multiple gunshots were fired at a group standing on Baker Street around 10: 30 p.m. Three ran to the 1200 block of W. North Ave., where they collapsed from gunshot wounds, police said. One of the three, who has not been identified, died at the scene.Two other victims fell on Baker Street and were transported to hospitals. Police were still investigating the incident early this morning and were unable to provide details.

Aberdeen Sheriff's deputies and state police report: Shannitta Nikkia Crapser, 26, of the 100 block of West Inca Street, was charged Tuesday with theft below $1,000. Randy Bowens, 47, of the 900 block of Avon Drive, was charged Wednesday with second-degree assault and false imprisonment. Shamari D. Tucker, 21, of the 1500 block of Mitchell Lane, was charged Wednesday with trespassing. Jophurius Keith Dominique, 25, of the 100 block of East Deen Street, was charged Thursday with failing to appear in court for a case in which he was charged with driving even though his license was suspended license and possessing a suspended license.

Aberdeen Maryland State Police and Sheriff's Office report: Djbril Ramatoulay, 21, of the 700 block of West Bel Air Avenue, was charged Tuesday with failing to appear in court for a case in which he was found guilty of failing to obey a police order and possessing marijuana. Someone was trying to open a window in the 3700 block of Aldino Road Wednesday. Aberdeen police report: Someone stole a cell phone in a cab Tuesday in the first block of North Philadelphia Boulevard.

She enjoys living in her century-old home on Baker Street.But she's not so crazy about the view.Baker Street residents look out on overgrown weeds, discarded cardboard boxes and abandoned cars.Armed with grass clippers and garbage bags, Baker Street residents will take part in a neighborhood cleanup Aug. 13.The project begins at 10 a.m. and lasts until the job is done.The driving force behind the effort is Ms. Battles, who collected ,, neighborhood signatures on a petition and presented it to Mayor Gerry Johnson.

Aberdeen Sheriff's deputies and state police report: Antoine D. Rushing, 20, of the first block of New County Road, was charged Thursday with trespassing and failing to obey a lawful police order. Warren E. Smith, 54, of the 100 block of Bouzarth Lane, was charged Sunday with possessing a drug other than marijuana and another drug-related charge. Kimberly Lynn Pugh, 42, of the 3300 block of Churchville Road, was charged with failing to appear in court for a case in which she was charged with possessing marijuana.

Baltimore city police are investigating a homicide that occurred early Thursday in the Coppin Heights neighborhood. Officers were called at about 3:30 a.m. to the 1600 block of North Smallwood Street near Baker Street for reports of gunfire. They found a 34-year-old man lying on the living room floor of the home. An attempted break-in in the 700 block of Wineberry Way was reported July 13. A man in the 300 block of South Philadelphia Boulevard reported July 14 fraud involving his girlfriend. Aberdeen police report: A woman was reported screaming and disturbing people in the 800 block of West Bel Air Avenue Wednesday.

Walter Carpenter says he was arrested for using his cell phone to record Baltimore police officers beating two handcuffed men on Baker Street. Two city officers say they arrested Carpenter for inciting an angry crowd as they detained one drug suspect and wrestled another to the ground to prevent him from swallowing heroin. The altercation occurred in April, months before a Harford County judge threw out wiretap charges against a motorcyclist who recorded his own traffic stop by a Maryland State Police trooper.
