At least four males were injured and one was killed after a shooting last night in the 500 block of Baker St. in Druid Heights, a police dispatcher said.Police said multiple gunshots were fired at a group standing on Baker Street around 10: 30 p.m. Three ran to the 1200 block of W. North Ave., where they collapsed from gunshot wounds, police said. One of the three, who has not been identified, died at the scene.Two other victims fell on Baker Street and were transported to hospitals. Police were still investigating the incident early this morning and were unable to provide details.

Harford County sheriff's deputies and Maryland State Police report: Aberdeen Christopher John Gray, 29, of the 1900 block of Bruce Road, was charged Friday with possession of a drug other than marijuana. Natrice J. Parker, 27, who has addresses in the first block of Liberty Drive and the 200 block of Mayberry Drive, was charged Sunday with possession of a drug other than marijuana, narcotics possession with intent to distribute, obstructing and hindering police and failure to obey a lawful order.

She enjoys living in her century-old home on Baker Street.But she's not so crazy about the view.Baker Street residents look out on overgrown weeds, discarded cardboard boxes and abandoned cars.Armed with grass clippers and garbage bags, Baker Street residents will take part in a neighborhood cleanup Aug. 13.The project begins at 10 a.m. and lasts until the job is done.The driving force behind the effort is Ms. Battles, who collected ,, neighborhood signatures on a petition and presented it to Mayor Gerry Johnson.

A Baltimore County liquor store manager admitted in federal court yesterday that he received more than $120,000 in counterfeit money smuggled into Maryland from Israel. Mordechai Mizrahi, 57, of Reisterstown pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Baltimore to conspiracy to sell counterfeit U.S. currency. According to the plea agreement presented to the court, Mizrahi imported $120,000 in counterfeit $100 bills from co-conspirators in Israel beginning in January 2003. Prosecutors said that Mizrahi typically paid about $32,500 in legitimate U.S. currency for every $100,000 of counterfeit bills.
