Mary Bahr thinks some storefront windows are meant for more than displaying impossibly thin mannequins - and that's why she spends so much time at the Station North Thrift Store. In the center window of the store, she has an oversize valentine to Jesus, framed by pink curtains and signed by patrons and employees. A stuffed lion and a stuffed lamb lie together next to it - a testament, she says, to the binding power of God's love. For more than a year, Bahr has been volunteering at least four days a week to fill this space at 1400 Greenmount Ave. with art that carries a message: God's love is evident in all things.
