Baltimore police are searching for three people involved in a March 18 beating of a tourist that attracted widespread attention after a video of the incident went viral on the Internet. The video showed a 31-year-old man from Arlington, Va., being surrounded in the 100 block of N. Calvert St. by a crowd of people, then struck multiple times, stripped of his clothes and robbed. The three suspects, whom police released images of seemingly taken from the online video, are wanted on assault and robbery charges, police said.

Seven North Laurel teenagers have been arrested and charged in connection with the assault and robbery of a Columbia teen earlier this month, according to Howard County Police. Charged with first- and second-degree assault, robbery, theft and reckless endangerment are: Drew Jeremiah Abraham, 17, Reservoir High School student, released on $20,000 bond. Shareff Abdul Malik Aroi, 16, inactive Hammond High School student, held on $25,000 bond. Dario Glendell Burley, Jr., 17, Reservoir High School 2013 graduate, released on $20,000 bond.

A third person has been arrested in connection with the mid-March videotaped beating of a man in downtown Baltimore, police said. Deangelo Carter, 18, of Baltimore, was taken into custody Tuesday in Northeast Baltimore, said Detective Jeremy Silbert, a spokesman for the Baltimore Police Department. Carter has been charged with first-degree assault, he said. Police are still looking for a fourth person — Shatia Baldwin, 21, of Baltimore — who they say took part in the assault on a man from Alexandria, Va. Baldwin is named in a warrant that charges her with assault and robbery.

Anne Arundel County police are seeking three men, at least one armed with a handgun, who are suspects in a Glen Burnie assault and robbery. A man was walking on a foot path in the 300 block of Highland Drive just after midnight Monday when he was confronted by three men, who, with faces covered, demanded his money, according to police. After indicating that he had none, the three men assaulted the man, stole his lighter and fled on foot.

A 30-year-old Westminster man is in the Carroll County Detention Center without bail on charges tied to an assault and robbery involving two women Monday night.William Evast Robinson of the first block of Carroll St. has been charged with two counts of assault and robbery, and one count each of assault, battery and theft.Investigators said they received a call to report to the first block of Pennsylvania Ave. about 9:20 p.m. Monday.When officers arrived, the two women told them that a man whom they knew asked for a ride to Main Street.

Police have arrested a second suspect in the videotaped beating in March of a man in downtown Baltimore, charging her with using a high-heeled shoe in the attack and slapping the victim after he had been knocked unconscious. Authorities are still looking for two other people in the assault on the 31-year-old visitor from Virginia who was stripped of his clothes and left unconscious and naked on North Calvert Street in front of the city courthouse. The graphic video, which was posted on the Internet, has horrified police and residents alike because of its brutal images and what appears to be an unprovoked attack on a man who told police he was intoxicated and was trying to find his Mount Vernon hotel.

An unidentified woman who was seen assaulting and robbing another patron in a Columbia bar last week is being sought by Howard County police. A surveillance tape of the incident, which took place on May 29 at about 2 a.m. at the Second Chance Saloon, has been released by police. According to police, the 27-year-old woman who was attacked after walking into the bar in the 5800 block of Robert Oliver Place did not know her attacker and did not have any communication with her prior to the incident.

Two men have been arrested in a violent attack on a 73-year-old man on a downtown street in February, and police said yesterday they have linked one of the suspects to similar assaults against two others that month. Latar C. Bradshaw, 22, was charged with robbery and conspiracy in connection with the Feb. 25 assault and robbery of Carl A. Schoettler, 73, a veteran Sun journalist. Police said they have issued a warrant for Phillip M. Carter in connection with Schoettler's case. Carter, 18, has been in custody since Feb. 26 after he was arrested in West Baltimore by an off-duty police officer and charged with assaulting a 65-year-old man. That attack occurred less than four hours after Schoettler had been assaulted, police documents show.

Howard County police have issued an arrest warrant for a 23-year-old Jessup man they say was involved in two violent incidents that occurred in North Laurel on the same evening in late March. Andrew Ellicott Scott is facing charges of armed robbery, attempted robbery, assault, theft, reckless endangerment and handgun violations in connection with the incidents. Police said that on March 31, an 18-year-old man was approached on a residential parking lot near Whiskey Bottom Road and Old Lantern Way about 5 p.m. Police said several assailants attempted to rob him of his keys and vehicle.

City police say they have arrested a serial rapist who allegedly attacked five women in four days in Northeast Baltimore, sexually assaulted three of them in alleys and robbed all five at gunpoint.Larry Lamont Brown, 19, of the 500 block of E. Preston St. was arrested Monday on a robbery charge. Police said he became a suspect in the other assaults after victims observed a photo lineup.Brown -- who was recently paroled from prison, where he was sent after being found guilty of assault and theft in November -- has been charged with three counts of rape, and five counts each of assault and robbery.
