George Lewis Russell Sr., 67, assistant chief clerk for the House of Representatives, died Saturday at Bon Secours Hospital of a heart attack.Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Long Reach Church of God, 6080 Foreland Garth, Columbia.His wife, the Rev. Helen D. Russell, is pastor of the Ellicott City Church of God.Other survivors include a son, George L. Russell Jr. of Concord; a daughter, Diane Russell Torbert of Baltimore; three brothers, Joseph Allan Russell of Charlotte, N.C., Melton Russell of Landis, N.C., and Thomas Leon Russell of Salisbury, N.C.; two sisters, Flossie Bernice Walker of Landis and Arnetta Long of Kannapolis, N.C.; and three grandchildren.
