Several NBA players will be in Baltimore on Tuesday for an exhibition game at St. Frances. Dwayne Wise , Under Armour B'more Finest's director of basketball operations, told The Sun that a team of Under Armour-sponsored pros will take on a team made up mostly of Baltimore players. Brandon Jennings (Milwaukee Bucks), Kemba Walker (Charlotte Bobcats), former Terps star Greivis Vasquez (New Orleans Hornets), DeAndre Jordan (Los Angeles Clippers) and Derrick Williams (Minnesota Timberwolves)

Mount St. Joseph senior guard Kameron Williams will be one of 10 players on the United States All-Stars team at Sunday's 40th annual Capital Classic in Virginia. Williams, a three-time All-Metro first-team selection, averaged 21 points, three rebounds and two assists per game as the Gaels won the Baltimore Catholic League title this season. Headed for Ohio State, the 6-foot-2, 175-pound guard scored more than 2,000 points in three seasons at Mount St. Joseph. Aquille Carr, a two-time All-Metro Player of the Year who played his senior season at Princeton Day, will play on the Capital All-Stars squad in the feature game against the U.S. All-Stars at T.C. Williams High School in Alexandria, Va. The U.S. All-Stars and Capital All-Stars are scheduled to play in the second game of a doubleheader at 4 p.m. The District All-Stars will play the Suburban All-Stars at 2 p.m. For the complete rosters for both games, click here . Nick Faust finished with 30 points Monday as No. 7 City closed out a 64-52 win over No. 4 Edmondson at Northwestern in a game that was suspended Feb. 4 after a fight broke out in City's stands. The game resumed with 5:37 left in the fourth quarter, City leading, 48-34, and Edmondson shooting four technical free throws. "We tried to come out aggressive, but the game turned into a foul-shooting expose," City coach Mike Daniel said. The Maryland-bound Faust scored 11 points Monday to go with the 19 he had Feb. 4. Only players, coaches and school officials were allowed to attend Monday's game.

No. 10 Lake Clifton 62, No. 9 City 59: The Lakers' Trae Summers (15 points) broke a tie at 59 with a game-winning 3-pointer with five seconds left. The Baltimore area has produced another one of Sports Illustrated's "Faces in the Crowd. " Just two weeks after Patterson basketball star Aquille Carr was highlighted in the magazine, former Glenelg track standout Robby Creese is being recognized. Creese, a freshman at Penn State, is one of the athletes included in the Feb. 6 edition of SI. Here's the text from his write-up: Robby Creese Mount Airy, Md. > Track and Field Creese, a freshman at Penn State, ran a 2:19.53 in the 1,000 meters at the Nittany Lions Challenge--in his first individual collegiate appearance--to set American Junior and NCAA records.

McDonogh junior Kayel Locke surpassed 1,000 points for his career last Wednesday, scoring 26 points and adding 11 rebounds to help his team beat St. Maria Goretti. Locke followed that with a 32-point, 13-rebound performance against Calvert Hall on Saturday for the No. 13-ranked Eagles. "He's been starting for us since he was a freshman," McDonogh coach Donta Evans said. "That first year, he averaged 14 points, and every year he has gotten better. This year he's averaging 18.9 points. " The 6-foot-5, 250-pound power forward is a complete offensive player, able to go to the basket, shoot the long ball, pass and rebound.

Aquille Carr Patterson, sophomore, guard After a fine freshman year in which he averaged 25.5 points and earned All-Metro first-team honors, the Clippers' explosive 5-foot-7 point guard took his game -- and his team -- to a higher level this season. Regarded as one of the finest players in his class by many national publications, Carr averaged 32 points, six assists and five rebounds with 117 steals to lead the Clippers (25-2) to Baltimore City and Class 4A North region titles, along with a trip to the state championship game.

Ian Miles, a Mount St. Joseph junior, won four events at the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association indoor track championships Friday night. It was the fourth time this season that Miles has accomplished the feat. He is undefeated this season in the 55-meter dash and 55 hurdles. At the MIAA meet, he won the 55 dash in 6.61 seconds, the 55 hurdles in 7.97, the 800-meter relay in 1:33.14 and the 300 dash in 36.64. His coach, Jack Peach, said Miles played basketball for the Gaels last year and had to be persuaded to join the indoor track team.
