Three young brothers died yesterday and their parents were critically injured as a blaze ripped through a Southwest Baltimore rowhouse - the third fatal residential fire in the city in as many days. Police identified the couple as David and Angie Alger, and their three sons as Glen, 9, Christopher, 7, and Jonathan, 4. Neighbors said the family rented the two-story rowhouse in the 1200 block of Washington Blvd. Flames roared through the windows and roof about 2:40 a.m., leading David and Angie Alger to fall or leap to the sidewalk.

Unlike many seniors, Angie Graybill has known since last fall which four-year college she will attend after graduation.Angie, one of Francis Scott Key High School's two valedictorians, applied to Western Maryland College through its early-decision program. By applying for an early decision, Angie agreed to make WMC her only choice."It's a commitment on the part of the institution and a commitment on the part of the student," said Martha O'Connell, WMC's director of admissions. "It's pleasant for us that Angie had us for her first choice."

We start out the night with Matsing and their ever-shrinking tribe. What would happen if they just keep losing? Would they have to sit our more and more of the other two tribes in challenges? Nah, you would see (well, we wouldn't) producers scrambling around in the background to figure something out. Now that Roxy is gone, Russell realizes that he needs to ally himself with Denise because of the bond between Angie and Malcolm You know, watching the credits I realize that, except for the people on Matsing, I don't know who half these people are yet. Maybe if someone else finally loses, we'll spend some time with the other tribes.

TANEYTOWN resident Angie Rasche is this year's Carroll County Farm Bureau's Farm Queen. "It's a huge honor and I take a lot of pride in it," said Angie, the daughter of Mary and Bill Rasche. "I know the title will give me a lot of opportunities." The 17-year-old was named Farm Queen during the Carroll County 4-H/FFA Fair last month. She became involved with 4-H when she joined Rolling Clover 4-H Club nine years ago. Initially, Angie was involved in crafts, baking and photography. The past four years she has been involved with livestock.
