On March 12, 2009, Louis Eidelberg Funeral Services were held on March 13, 2009 at the Star of David Memorial Park in North Lauderdale, Florida where Mr. Eidelberg was buried with military honors and a flag ceremony. Memorial offerings may be made in his memory to the Alzheimer's Association. Shiva was held at the home of Belle Eidelberg.

The Alzheimer's Association, a nonprofit organization that seeks to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through supporting research and to enhance care and support for sufferers, their families and caregivers, is seeking volunteers to lead support groups once a month.
