On March 24, 2003, ALVINA KATHRYN DIVEL, loving companion of Greg Norris. Mrs. Dival is predeceased by her husband, George L. Divel, Sr. Devoted mother of George Divel, Jr., William Divel, Darlene Woodward, Kathleen Meadows, Marlene Wright, Charlene Broccolo, and Pauline Gugliotta. Also survived by twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A Christian Wake Service will be held at the family owned Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk Inc., 7922 Wise Avenue, on Thursday at 7:30 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Fatima Church, on Friday at 11 A.M. Interment Crest Lawn Cemetery.

Alvina G. Eisenmeier, a retired congressional secretary, died Tuesday of complications from Alzheimer's disease at the Holly Hill Manor nursing home in Towson. The Carney resident was 80. She was born Alvina Graves and raised in Baltimore, and was a 1941 graduate of Western High School. She did clerical work at Mercantile-Safe Deposit & Trust Co. in Baltimore before becoming a secretary to then-Rep. Helen Delich Bentley in the Republican congresswoman's Washington office. She later was a Baltimore County Health Department secretary in Towson.
