Some firsts:: In the resumption of the April 28 suspended game, which the Orioles won in the 14th, Alberto Castillo earned his first major league win and Rocky Cherry his first career save. It was the first time Orioles pitchers achieved those milestones in the same game since July 2, 2004, when Eddy Rodriguez (win) and Daniel Cabrera (save) did it in a 16-inning, 7-6 win at Philadelphia. A balkfest:: Both starting pitchers in the second game committed balks. The Orioles' Chris Waters stopped in his windup in the fifth, which allowed Alexei Ramirez to score from third.
