On November 3, 2005, ADELAIDE GARDNER, of Glen Burnie, preceded in death by her beloved husband Walter Gardner; devoted father of; Adelaide Kruemmel, Joan Yeager, and Sharon Borkmann; dear sister of Doris Hahn and Esther Mc Caslin . Also survived by eight grandchildren and 13 Great-Grandchildren and four Great-Great-Grandchildren. Adelaide C. Rackemann, a former librarian who was also a poet, conservationist, horticulturist, bird watcher and a freelance writer, died Sunday at Maryland Shock Trauma Center after suffering a fall at her Bare Hills home. She was 86. Adelaide Hardcastle Crawley, the daughter of a lawyer and a homemaker, was born in New York City and raised in Port Washington, N.Y. After graduating from Port Washington High School in 1941, she earned a bachelor's degree in political science from Wellesley College in 1945.

Dear grandmother of Diana Bauerline, Deborah Gott, David Chick and Jeffrey Hershberger, four great-grandchildren Andrew Bauerline, Kyle Gott, Caitlin Gott and Ashlee Chick and two great step grandsons Matthew Ward and Kristopher Ward.
