Friends may visit the family owned MARCH FUNERAL HOME WEST, INC., 4300 Wabash Avenue on Monday after 8:30 A.M., where the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 P.M. The family will also receive friends on Tuesday at the above mentioned establishment at 11:30 A.M., follow by funeral service at 12 noon.

Baltimore police have identified the 21-year-old victim who was fatally shot early Sunday in Southwest Baltimore, officials said. Police were called to the 1200 block of Ward Street at 5:51 a.m. and discovered the victim, identified as Rasheed Abdullah. A medical crew pronounced him dead at 5:55 a.m. Police are seeking witnesses. Drug money made Mumin Sahib Abdullah rich.The loft of his Owings Mills townhouse was filled with silk suits, fur coats and $600 shoes. He had four foreign cars, including a $50,000 Range Rover. His wife ran up monthly bills as high as $16,000 at Saks Fifth Avenue and spent thousands more at other chic stores. Abdullah threw champagne parties at a private club.The couple's high-flying lifestyle was financed on the streets of Baltimore. Abdullah's heroin operation, begun in 1990, was an entrepreneur's dream.

Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County. Baltimore City Southwestern District Slaying victims named: Police identified Richard Nicholson, 28, of the 2900 block of Presstman St. and Abdullah Barber-el, 25, of the 3100 block of Westmont Court as the men fatally shot Wednesday night in the 1400 block of Bloomingdale Road. Abdullah died at the scene and Nicholson died at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. There were no arrests. Western District Shooting: A man, 29, was shot in the stomach, arms and groin about 10 p.m. Wednesday in the 1500 block of N. Gilmor St., and was in serious condition yesterday at Shock Trauma.

Jawad Abdullah's office is a window into Baltimore's thriving illicit drug trade. Literally. In front of his desk on the 10th floor of Baltimore police headquarters on East Fayette Street, a row of eight-foot windows frames the drug-riddled streets of East Baltimore. Abdullah carefully drops white powder found just 11 blocks away into tubes to test them for cocaine and heroin. "See the bright blue color?" Abdullah asks, pointing to a small dish in which he has combined the powder with a chemical.
