Terps players rank among Big Ten leaders in several categories

Through five games, Maryland players rank among the leaders in the Big Ten in several categories:

** Wide receiver Stefon Diggs, who has 29 catches for 398 yards and two touchdowns, is tied for third in the conference in receptions per game (5.8) and is seventh in yards per game (79.6).

** Cornerback Will Likely is averaging a Big Ten-best 22 yards per punt return while Diggs is leading the conference with an average of 29.4 yards per kick return.

** Diggs is sixth in the conference in all-purpose yards per game (123.2).

** Kicker Brad Craddock is leading the Big Ten in field goals per game (2.0) and is the only kicker in the conference yet to miss a field goal. He is 10 for 10 this season.

** Inside linebacker L.A. Goree is sixth in the Big Ten in tackles per game (9.5). Safety Sean Davis is tied for 10th (8.4).

** Sophomore outside linebacker Yannick Ngakoue, who has seven tackles for a loss, is tied for second in the Big Ten in tackles for a loss per game (1.40).

** Likely, who has eight passes defended and three interceptions, leads the Big Ten in interceptions per game (0.60) and is second in passes defended per game (1.60).

** Nose tackle Darius Kilgo has two fumble recoveries. No one else in the Big Ten has more than one.
